I won’t mention the well-known restaurant chain (for now) that has this cookie. I will tell you that they tout themselves as having “clean” ingredients.
I don’t think so. But, in their defense, what chain, (or even independent) restaurant is truly clean? Literally no-one in the restaurant industry has any idea what they are feeding people. If you keep reading Ageddon, you’ll learn how much poison you’re ingesting daily. But warning! It’s really unappetizing!
So, for starters, the company in question lists this cookie as “Lemon Drop Cookies” on their website and on literature in their store. I was hoping, since they publicize their commitment to clean ingredients, that I might be able to eat these. I have a problem with a lot of food chemicals and ALWAYS read food ingredients before eating an item. Even then, I still occasionally get blood pressure spikes and/or migraines because ingredients labels are not always transparent.
Here's the #FoodAgeddon Neurotoxic Ingredients List Analysis for Lemon Drop Cookies:
Cookie - Lemon Drop Flavored (Lemon Drop Flavored Cookie:
(That’s the first line of the ingredients list. Notice how they call it Flavored, not just once, but TWICE?? That’s the first clue that these are not truly “clean”.)
But it gets worse. MUCH worse:
Now what, exactly, does this analysis tell us?
Pretty simple: There are 10 times more neurotoxins in this single cookie than you should eat in any serving of anything! MINIMUM!! The ones that say flavorS might contain more than one neurotoxic chemical.
Now, I must admit this isn’t disciplined science, but it passes the Common Sense test for me and gives a rough idea how toxic a product might be. It’s based on my own personal experience with these neurotoxic poisons, and the solid scientific research by TruthInLabeling.org and others.
My basic assumptions for this analysis are:
1. Most of the studies setting a Maximum “Safe” or “Non-Toxic” amount for food chemicals are based on “Per serving, per item”. So, in other words, how much of that one ingredient does it take to cause a reaction. But we do not eat single ingredients. We eat products made of multiple ingredients. And multiple products in a day. No-one, until now, has tried to take into consideration that most products have multiples of these neurotoxic ingredients in them.
2. Companies will use each of these neurotoxic items to the fullest extent they can, because, quite frankly, many are addictive and they want you to CRAVE their food.
3. The Score is a Minimum Score, because they often hide multiple ingredients behind certain terms, like “Spices”, and “Flavors”. They also often don’t include the sub-ingredients of all the Ingredients of some items. Like salt and sugar, for instance. They often contain an anti-caking agent which is usually not listed. And yes, many anti-caking agents will be neurotoxic.
So just one of these cookies has 10 times more than the Maximum Neurotoxins anyone should consume, or 1000% if you like percentages.
Now consider that most people are ingesting this amount of Neurotoxic chemicals for every item, in every meal, and in every “snack”, every day.
How are you feeling now?
